Im a former pot head and i genuinely feel people shouldnt be sent to prison for weed related offences. However from my experience marijuana charges are one of those things cops use to arrest known felons with long rap sheets. Its similar to how al-capone got arrested for tax evasion

I don't think anyone should be arrested for selling something you can grow in your garden.

In most cities, it would be a crime to grow a crop of corn or watermelons in your front yard.

You may only grow yard grass and flowers, but nothing edible.

Your food may only be purchased, just like your weed.
