Uhh except WE (the U.S.) funded the lab they think it came from in China and the bat-human coronavirus gain-of-function research using Daszak and EcoHealth Alliance as a proxy, they are just covering their own asses with that baseless bs. And the evidence is pretty staggering - a 19 nucleotide long patented moderna sequence that doesnt exist in nature, it has furin cleavage sites, which no other coronaviruses have, etc.

Good info, HKP. You will also know that I am not promoting one news media company over another. We can consider what they're reporting and contributing additional analysis or reports where necessary. Indeed, Fox is a professional disinformation engine, to which others respond in this report, noting partial agreement. So we can look more to the information rather than the messengers in this case. What's especially helpful with the NBC report is that they mention the approaches of other agencies (unlike Fox would do, those scum). The opinion of the FBI director - Christopher Wray, who worked for G.W. Bush and was appointed by Fuckface Von Clownstick - is obviously biased in favor of a right wing political base, so he is obviously not reliable as a source. Indeed, his concerns about China date back to early 2020, when there were multiple requests for information that were not forthcoming from China. It's a very old and continuous problem with China. Moreover, he manages a DOMESTIC bureau, and his opinion about international affairs doesn't matter, nor is it newsworthy. Notice also that his outlet for information is the GOP's disinformation company, Fox and 'friends' (the bloody bastards). One can instead ask the CIA about China (not that they'll offer facts, however). The reason I've posted this is because the MSM is at least DISCUSSING this problem, even if there is nothing new to report. In any context where there can be some pressure on China to be more transparent, I think that can be progress, at least in the US. One of the reasons China foreign affairs analysists think China want Putin's war to continue is to avoid the attention of the US, which they think (know?) will develop if the Ukraine genocide ends. One can read this analysis in Foreign Affairs Magazine.

Yeah, I would not exempt Fox news from my MSM critique. All of these outlets have their own politics, and none of them can be trusted to faithfully report anything that is inconsistent with the narrative they mean to promote. In this particular instance, it doesn't make sense to accuse China of being unforthcoming, as the Wuhan Lab experiments with bat->human coronaviruses were funded by US and not China, and it is us who are being unforthcoming for perfectly understandable reasons, I don't think "Hey, our bad, we accidently unleashed a worldwide pandemic whilst doing illegal gain-of-function experiments" is gonna go over well with anyone

Okey dokey - let's of course understand that there are corporate directors of all news media who restrict what is shared and often promote their own narratives. Done. Let's also understand what the NIH does: grants are provided to several countries (especially BRICS) for medical research of many kinds. If I remember correctly, the NIH provided $1.1 million to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) through the EcoHealth Alliance. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) arranged for the funding. This happened beteeen October 2009 and May 2019. The Wuhan Institute of Virology is otherwise funded by the Chinese Communit Party (to the tune of $100s of millions, give or take). In October of 2014, the Obama Administration paused gain of function (GOF) research activities and funding, informing WIV of the decision. GOF research like this was proposed and prepared for potential approval before Obama entered office in January 2009. EcoHealth had worked with the WIV since 2004. As knowledge of GOF research spread, the Obama administration paused it in 2014. EcoHealth also tried to cover up GOF information in Februady 2020. The Trump administration officially ended it in 2019 (ie. cutting off funding via USAID). Much of this has been known since then and especially since early 2021, though not as much via the MSM. Politicians had this information. Jon Stewart was well aware of it. There is also evidence that WIV used the Chinese military in the development and protection of GOF research. The NIH should be required to disclose to the public what it did with their $1.1 million tax dollars in WIV. Politicians can make this happen. China should also disclose to the NIH what happened with the grant money. According to a January 15, 2021 State Department press release, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced several researchers inside the WIV became sick with COVID-19 like symptoms in the fall of 2019. So - as they tried to convince us on The X-Files - the truth is out there.

I'll take a look at that link, I don't know too much about China's role in this, it does seem odd to me that we would choose a lab so heavily funded by the CCP to try and do this for us, but maybe they thought EcoHealth acting as a private entity was sufficient cover? I suppose I should keep an open mind about China's possible involvement, what you say sounds plausible enough

I get it, but China is one of the reasons US news media could not officially corroborate information about the lab origin of COVID19. Blaming the lab would be blaming China for knowingly hiding the source, which would have been a geopolitcal problem for greedy fucks on the Hill and their friends who are making $billions with the help of child labor in China. China has these fuckers in their pocket. Portions of US businesses are effectively colonized by China.

I'm aware of Wuhan & all the dates, be they it or the changes to definitions of certain words, I was speaking only on the USA about Harvard & said article.
