Spoke the above and a lot more from memory, had an IQ of 150 plus. Who was he?

The 11 Nuremberg defendants all took IQ tests, to prove they were not deranged lunatics (the Allies forced them). Typical scores were in the 130s and 140s. To ride herd on these guys, Hitler had to be smarter.

Is there any reputable source that says this? So, not a bunch of unknown websites that are propaganda? I have seen the list of IQs, but I would accept whatever website an allied military organisation has as evidence too.

It’s like estimating the IQ of John Quincy Adams (175): we have only the man’s actions, not formal testing. Hitler went from being a Vienna bum in 1913, to being Chancellor. He had no high school diploma, no family, no connections. He knew how to manipulate the masses probably more than any leader ever. He was brilliant. His trouble was he was closed minded: he insisted on invading a vast country that was already selling him all the raw materials Germany needed. I guess even brilliant people have blind spots.

I don't think anything Hitler did was particularly smart. For example, he wasn't even able to build a nuclear weapon, which was literally the only Wunderwaffe that he should have developed before attacking any country. There was a window of 6 years to develop a nuclear weapon and he missed it.

John Quincy Adams doesn't seem worthy of being remembered.

Arguably Trump's election proves that any asshole can get elected, because the general population consists of mainly assholes. In Germany 21% wants to vote for AfD, which are basically literal Nazis.

I don't think humanity learned anything. Everyone seems to be planning for world war 3 with some scholars claiming the war in Ukraine certainly would have to be included already.

His operatives had generally high IQs, 130s and 140’s, with Hess being the lowest at 110, if I remember correctly. They wouldn’t have followed Hitler if he was a dunce. But yes, he had a blind spot on nuclear weapons. FDR did as well which is why it had to be a letter from Einstein to convince FDR to initiate the nuclear programs. Hitler thought more conventionally with jet planes and missiles. JQA is regarded as the smartest president but he lived at a time when the Federal government wasn’t much more than the Post Office. Americans were terrified of a powerful chief executive.
