so wanting to change their entire body doesn't need therapy to help them like their existent body, but not being into dicks is a condition... gee, like that's the first time anyone tried to pull conversion therapy on homosexuals.

I hate when they say that shit, it's so manipulative--you don't like penises so you don't date transbians aka STRAIGHT MEN but lesbians should have to?!

I have no idea what that top-rated comment is trying to say. Maybe somebody can try and steelman the trans psychology for me here because it just sounds like plainly contradictory nonsense.

"You don't have to be attracted to penises, but people with penises should be in your dating pool as equals"

?????????????

Translation: "You silly, silly person who menstruates, do you really think YOU get a say in whether you should have sex with penises?"

I think they mean that lesbians should be open to dating post-op transwomen, but why? Why does anyone need to prove they're a good person by reevaluating their sexuality? Being a good person doesn't have anything to do with sexual attraction.

ten years ago if this question was asked the answer would be "no, that's what a lesbian is"

Lol from the comments section "Making equivalency between male and penis (and thereby trans women and penis) is also transphobic." I thought nobody was denying biology, because "Sex and gender are different?"

You need therapy

And that one called "conversion therapy" and involves electricity, right? How nice of you with help!

Poor young lesbians who can accidentally got there and receive all the homophobic and lesbophobic hate from "lesbian" subreddit.

UGH "framing trans women as males is misgendering and transphobic. Making equivalency between male and penis (and thereby trans women and penis) is also transphobic. Sex is based on a series of traits that can be mostly changed, and a trans woman post op and on HRT is thus no more male than a cis woman, even by medical definitions."
