So I'm really angry while writing this and I'm guilty of this too, but we need to make a bigger stand as a group in public. We didn't fight against homophobia for centuries just to deal with all this crap. Hell we didn't even win our right to marriage until five years ago. five years. We didn't gain what small piece of the pie we have in America, Canada, and Europe just to give it up. We fought five years ago we can fight again. It's BS that after all we went through to gain some equality world wide we are knocked back down the totem pole. I know it's scary but it was a hell of a lot scarier even a decade ago. I don't know really what I'm trying to say here, but we've had to take the hard routes in the past, we can do it again.

I find it especially heartbreaking when these applauded, celebrated trans kids try to tell older gays that the TQ are more oppressed!!

They have no idea what gay people went through, especially before 2000. They think it’s a walk in the park because queer is such a popular identity

Martina Navratilova is my hero. She was gay when it cost her everything. She had a ‘real’ trans coach before it was cool (Dr. Richards)

She should be celebrated as the Mack-Mommy of all LGBT but she got cancelled by a bunch of little shits because she said biological men have a physical advantage over women in sports

Martina Navratilova lived when a lesbian wasn't a cool label people used to feel special, but something that caused serious negative consequences in your life. Still, she's treated like a monster, for stating the logical fact that male in female sport isn't fair.

Controversial opinion: gay marriage did a lot of the damage here. It is what the rich and privileged gay and lesbians backing LGB(T) organisations wanted and now they've got it they're happy to continue funding the same orgs that now focuse solely on trans lobbying, because in their minds there's nothing else left to fight for. There were warnings about this for decades.

I kind of disagree, but kind of agree at the same time.

I think what got us here (mostly) is us entertaining transgender people's delusions regarding what they believe they are. They are mentally unbalanced, we aren't telling depressed people to off themselves and we aren't telling anorexic people that they look fat in certain clothing, so I have no idea why society decided to humour such a dangerous issue.

To tell you the truth, I don't care how 'harsh' it is (misgendering someone is the fucking paper cut of oppression, if you go into a state of unending mental anguish for being misgendered, you need fucking help), the only way we can get out of this mess is by continuing to say the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Transwomen are not women and transmen are not men.

i think you missed their point. The goal of all these huge organizations is primarily to exist first in order to pay all their staff and boards of directors then to have a goal they fight for second. Winning gay marriage meant that the movement was seemingly winding down and they could begin winding down their organizations. Instead they fabricated an idea that there was an Apocalypse of violence against transpeople to continue to pull in sympathy funding. Instead of shrinking down after winning they wanted to expand and this was they way to do it.

There's a lot more money involved in trans activism than just donations from wealthy gays and lesbians, and a much more sinister end goal.

It was pretty on point about how all they care about is their own political power when in 2016 the HRC endorsed HRC for president over Sanders.

Chad Griffin was actually a staffer for the Clintons and he then used his credibility for working for them to become head of the HRC which he then used to endorse his former boss HRC over the objections of the peons in the organization. Corporatist identity politics liberals then used that endorsement to berate Sanders and his supporters trying to claim that Clinton was more for gay rights than Sanders was. It was completely laughable yet these people were making this argument with a straight face. He took over HRC in 2012 like a chess piece moving into position. The supreme court undercut the potential long drawn out fight for marriage equality in 2015. There was nothing left to fight for on that front so they could basically become a super PAC for Clinton and start spamming my inbox about trans bullshit.

I still maintain that calling a man he or calling a woman she is NOT misgendering. Misgendering is when I (a woman, an adult human female) gets called sir when I'm out in public, which does happen often enough. What you won't see is any video of me freaking out about it screaming "IT'S MAAM!!!" because I'm not a fecking psycho.

I think it too. I would go back in a time without gay marriage, if that means not dealing with gender bullshit. Reality is, marriage is nice, but not necessary. In my country we have civil union. But they had to had marriage to feel equal to the heteros. Now they're equal on paper, but not considered oppressed enough anymore to be considered.

Sadly, it was just the last drop, even before marriages we could see big changes in representation in Stonewall and other organisations (some years had 0 published works on lesbians!).

But that's became much worst after the year gay marriage got accepted in USA. They thought gay fight was over, and started to give all the attention to the trans to keep having funds. Reality is, marriage was damaging in the end.

Gay marriage was accepted in other countries earlier, tho. And transgender craze started mainly in UK. I guess when it hit USA it became most prominent, because USA are the ones who are exporting their culture forcibely via money and television to the rest of western world?

I don't know where in started. But it is true that USA being so influential in Europe, means simply that this trans ideology will become popular all over the west and beyond, simply because it's popular in USA.

As we all know, the gay community has had its support slip these last few years. That's because the TQ+WTF crowd will not throw us aside or allow us to break from them.

The reason is simple. The TQ+WTF does not enjoy the same rights and protections that we LGB do. They umbrella themselves under the LGB so that the public will assume they are covered and dare not annoy.

Headway is being made in the UK with LGB Alliance. And here in the States, once we have our own Alliance type organization, we will be able to do the same...show there is a difference between same-sex attraction and gender identity.

Until them we are forced to suck it up, no matter how bad it makes us feel.

Our new day is coming. It should have happened already, and actually is should have happen here first!

We will get our identity back. We will get the real gay history back. And we will regain our support again.

Right now, LGB is in the best position of any group to push back against trans activism, because TQ plus has grafted themselves to LGB.

So call politicians, from the local to the federal level RIGHT NOW and let them know, because Trans, Inc. is changing laws to benefit themselves, and detract from LGB rights, from the local to the federal level as I'm typing this post, so there is no time to lose!
