You're pretty right. This is slutty gay male behaviour. It has always existed, and one of the reason of my repulsion to gay pride. Also bad for the normal gay men who are associated with this. It isn't like gay men have always been seen as perverts or pedos, how some of them behave doesn't help to fight the stereotype.

It is same stereotype as "all lesbians are butch and manly, with short hair", just worse. In most cases it is drag queens, transgenders and "leather bike clubs" who are acting like that and who are mostly shown in media as "all gays are like this", while most of those people aren't even gays in the first place.

This idea is so undying mostly because many people are thinking that if two men live together, one of them must act or look like a female, and if two women live together, then one of them must act and look like a male, or maximum close to that. People are not realising that homosexuality means that men love men for being men, and women love women for being women.

No. People are meant to see this and be either repulsed or turned on. And this turns on THEM, the performers. It has nothing to do with politics. It started around early 90s, maybe late 80s, when queer theory started being more prominent and pride parades "appeared again", but this time not as riots, but as "showcase", mostly used to show different kinks and filled with all kinds of "allies".
