All this will do is turn the tide against them. You can only bully and annoy people for so long before they finally tell you to fuck off. How many gay men supported them a year ago are now fed up with them today? Many I would assume. In the last year I've seen many people, both online and in real life go from "twaw and tmam" to "this is getting to be too much now". Many straight men online have been declaring "im not cis" because the trans clan are trying to force it on them now like they did with women. the more posts like this, the more people will peak.

Sometimes I have a strong urge to call such people "trashmen" and "trashbians", however, I am civilized woman, so I will not resort to this tribal power.

Who would have known that being told your whole life that liking men as a man was "against biology, morally wrong, etc" conditioned gay men to like dick. That's such a hot take I feel like they must have shoveled it off their lawn right before making that post.

Right? It's absolutely ridiculous, men and women are definitely not conditioned to like the same sex. At least that comment got downvoted, although frankly it's far too few downvotes for such a popular thread and such a homophobic comment.

But then he got gilded for that other comment. It's amazing the lack of awareness in comparing two wildly different things. After decades of fighting gay men got the right to marry (in some countries). Do you want trans people to have the same right? Sure, they can already marry whoever they want. But he's actually putting "having sex with gay men" in the same level as "marriage equality", as if having sex with us is a right too.

Honestly I don't find it all that amazing. I think all trans are mentally ill. Just because a bunch of woke psychologists took gender dysphoria out of the DSM V doesn't make it any less of a disorder. To be clear, I think they deserve respect and support as long as they don't harm others. I'm also aware that homosexuality was once classified as a mental illness. I would argue that there is a big difference between thinking you are the opposite sex and being attracted to the same sex. The classification for a mental illness is when your behavior/thoughts impede your life. Homosexuality doesn't do that (unless it's by outside forces) whereas people who genuinely suffer from gender dysphoria have described the condition as debilitating.

His comments make it clear that he is a cis "gay" man though. Unfortunately way too many LGB people are also sharing the TQ+ narrative.

Ah yea I missed that part the first time.

This is like the time I wondered if the cats would go for vegan meat substitutes. No. They can immediately tell the difference.

Does this remind anyone else of "Green Eggs and Ham" where Sam-I-am badgers the other character about eating them "with a fox? in a box? on a train? in the rain?" until the guy capitulates. Never surrender. Women aren't men. Men aren't women. The end.

These kinds of conversations can’t happen without the anonymity of the Internet. Because you have people claiming to be trans men-loving gay men. You have women pretending to be men. If everyone was part of the same real life community, you would be able to tell that’s not a gay man and that other dude is a woman. All the gay men who just want to be supportive and say “yes ofc you’re a man” and “some gay men will want to date you for sure” would have to deal with the fact that they have an obvious women in front of them. No one would be interested in preserving these people’s feelings and “validating” their “personal truth” because they would come across as the delusional mentally ill people they really are.

Unfortunately, I've definitely seen this type of conversation in real life too.

All the gay men who just want to be supportive and say “yes ofc you’re a man” and “some gay men will want to date you for sure” would have to deal with the fact that they have an obvious women in front of them.

You're on point here, though. Easier to say "obviously gay men date transmen", not so easy for these gay men to actually go and have sex with transmen.

How old are the people you’ve seen acting like this? And is it by people claiming to be gay men who date trans men or try to convince others to?

[–]8bitgay[S] 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Late 20s and older. Unfortunately even people who aren't teens anymore are buying into the teen narratives they see on social media.

I'd say it's by both. I've heard it from bi guys who call themselves gay, but I've also heard it from actually gay guys. Even the gay guys who don't have sex with transmen sometimes say this stuff out of peer pressure, unfortunately.

I really think cis gay essentialism is totally conditioned, can be unlearned

Also:

Fuck, I’m not tying to force anyone into anything!

Well, which is it, pal?

He's not forcing us to do X, he's just saying that in 20 years we'll all naturally do X. Much better, right? /s

“I’m just saying being gay is totally a choice and you’re morally bankrupt if you chose it. But I’m totally not a homophobe forcing anyone into anything!”

Oh god... This is like some John Money shit, but instead of heterosexuality being "conditioned" and a "social construct," it's homosexuality. This "gay cis" man and his TQ+ buddies really subtly supporting conversion therapy.

I love how this dickhead keeps editing his response surprised by the downvotes and dragging.

Especially the final edit LOL.

I don't think that people who post these sort of comments that repulsion for the opposite set of genitals can come along with homosexuality

Aw, fuck off people.
