I’m so glad the OP posted this in detrans and not any of the trans subs. I read things like this and I just don’t understand how people can feel this way and not see that it’s a mental condition, not an identity.

Someone should do a social experiment and post the same post to r/detrans and one of the trans sub, then compare the replies.

if you look at her post history she made a similar post in ftm. Two replies. One reply tells her that her mother never had a daughter so she should just ignore her mother. The other reply tells her that it's all going to be ok and that her fears are 'valid'. It says so much about their "community".

Damn. Good way to put it, I'm glad that's the top comment. Also hits close to home for me because I have a lot of internalized misogyny, and kind of hate having boobs. Really glad I somehow missed falling into this trap.

It is hard for me to not hate them though, I was extremely sexualized from a young age and they make me feel like a piece of meat. Research suggests that appreciating what a body part can do as opposed to what it looks like, is often helpful in overcoming that, but I mean, I am not planning to use them for breastfeeding since I don't want to have children, so..

What is nonbinary when there isn't a set definition? I don't buy into the transhumanism conspiracy too much but I don't know what else to compare people like this to. Nonbinary doesn't exist. You can't become something that isn't real.

The saddest part is how the OP ignores all the female posters (all of them having been in exactly that place before!) and only tells the MtF who is downplaying the shitty parts because they need to convince themselves, too, that their post was helpful.

That is just showing how deep the disrespect for everything female runs in this one, and how much internal defenses make them want to ignore reality and everything anyone says that isn't "Men have nice voices, too!".

Also, they're indoctrinated and looking for reassurance because they're scared. I guess the cult is starting to get scary now she has to commit so it's not fun and games anymore. Also the mtf doesn't sound like they are detrans so I wonder why they're even there...

She's scared shitless and the best the cult can come up with is "you're valid so ignore all your doubts and cut off your family". Also these people will never meet this girl, they don't give a crap about her and what becomes of her. Fuck me there is so much wrong with this.
