I don't use the rainbow anymore because of this. People have started to resent the forced "treat me as your superior special snowflake" shit spread by TRAs and I do not want any association with that. I have seen people who were kinda okay with gay people backtrack and say, "we knew this was a mistake, they always take more and more!" and it's really painful to see how they are hurling us back years and years.

In a way I'm glad they made that rainbow/BLM/trans flag monstrocity so I can stick with my regular rainbow flag and know I'm not associating with any of that crap

Careful they'll notice and ask why you're not using that new monstrosity (and eyesore) of a flag

Eh, in my country at least homophobes have always been like this.

Religious leaders here get rich with money from their believers while also taking advantage of tax exemptions. Obviously they don't consider these tax exemptions "special rights". But any basic LGB right being achieved or enforced suddenly becomes "omg the gays want special rights!".

I'm not saying all religions and all religion leaders are like this, by the way. But the leaders who made themselves the richest by stealing and manipulating are also those who are most vocal against LGB.

Yeah the TQ is dragging LGB with them . I remember reading something about how across practically the entire world acceptance rates are dropping after going up for the past couple years. I'm sorry your feeling judged just for who you are man. Nobody should have to feel that way. It's a crappy situation but we all just have to keep on keeping on. Try to counter that argument whenever you can and try to remove that illusion from peoples minds. Hopefully we'll make it through this.

Yes. Homosexual acceptance has decreased for the first time in about 60 years. It's especially taken a downturn in the youngest generation.

That's weird, who are these young people who hate lgbt? They're the ones making it so cringey to begin with

Probably not the same cringe-fringe demographic.

The ones who know what the other people in their generation are like.

I feel the same about being asexual - not one of these uwu heteroromantic demisexual who wanna have sex on a full moon - but just a person who has never been interested sexually and romantically with people at all.

Most of asexuals I meet are on board with the TQ+ nonsense what's a pain and quite depressing. That feels very alienating.

I would say that's precisely what their objective was. TRAs are homophobia.

How can they be homophobic when they are so, totally gay? That female transmasc person has plenty of gay piv sex with zir m*le transfemme partner

I think the general public in general is fed up with the antics of the trans movement and those identifying as LGBTQIA+whatever, and it has caused real harms in advancing legitimate sex-based protections, but it seems in most of the discourse I've seen and had with heterosexual people (in North America at least) they're fortunately aware that the trans community is behaving in an entitled way that's ruining it things for the rest of LGB, let alone for women's spaces, etc, and that it's not representative of the sane LGB people.
