I'm so confused about the situation regarding Kamala Harris tbh. On one hand, we have this sub and a couple other pro-LGB people saying that she condones the TQ+ and supports that, but on the other hand, the TQ+ and woke crowd says that she's transphobic. Which is the truth?

Probably the first one.

TRAs are known to overreact to everything. She probably said something innocuous like 'woman exist' and they went immediately to social media to scream bloody murder about how she is committing actual murder of uwu transwhamen uwu.

She purportedly put TW in mens prisons and also blocked a sex change when she was a prosecutor. purportedly

Yep, but now i think she's all for it according to some sources. Especially ones trying to back her up and are saying she didn't actually want that.

Is she though? Or she was just using the TRAs for her own ends like the sheep they are? It would be pretty hilarious if she went full TERF mode now lol

I seem to recall that the sex change block was due to her job when she was representing the state of California and they said no so she had to go along as that was her job, not that she necessarily believed it.

That's probably too much nuance for some of these people...

Both I guess? She's pushing TQ+ (especially with Biden on her side) and she's considered "transphobic" becuase, according to them, she two (?) TWs in male prisons and denied sex changes. But now there's some also denying that saying that she didn't actually want for that to happen. Alongside being agaisnt trans panic defense.

I think she will be pushed to do stuff we won’t like, by the tq+ crowd. She will buckle on the definition of woman.

If the TQ try to push: We should push back then, the vast majority of people would likely be on our side. I don’t want to ally with those who otherwise don’t see LGB as human... but unlike other administrations I do think a normal administration can be reasoned and argued with. A large part of normal US politics is like it or not lobbyists and grassroots can go a decently long way.

I think Harris isn’t in just California anymore, that’s going to change the context. At least, I hope so. My big concern is how much the LGBT and feminist orgs who already have money and recognition have fallen for TQ shit. It’s weird, when those people also are unlikely to give them money. This is a war about allies, I think, ““good”” allies giving donations? Popular rhetoric online and in universities and social groups but not he truth of the mess outside those bubbles, people can be convinced of even bullshit if they’re motivated enough to and TQ does that motivating pretty well through coercion and guilt tripping.

This is why I’ve been working on peaking my straight friends and family. We need to get the word out now. They’re less emotionally invested and susceptible to the propaganda and pressures of the LGBT orgs and they’re otherwise hearing “no one is saying sex isn’t real” and still think that TWAW is figurative not literal. It’s better to and them with the info they need now before the propaganda gets dialed up to 11 and they’re not even willing to have the discussion. It’s about convincing them this isn’t a fringe issue and that it’s not a human/civil rights issue in the way they are being led to think.

I wouldn't be surprised honestly...
