The most popular puberty blocking drug, Lupron, is commonly used to treat hormonal tumors, such as prostate cancer. In fact, that's one of the reasons terfs like to flaunt statistics that say that Lupron causes death in a frighteningly large portion of people: those people already had cancer.

And I've never heard the stats about overall death from all Lupron patients—I'm not sure those stats exist—only about increased risk of death in women taking it for precocious puberty (who presumably do not have prostate cancer), and most of the time it's the severe bone density problems in young people that are talked about more often.
