I don't know about that; there is a lot of variation in human sexuality and it stands to reason that if someone could be repulsed by the idea of being sexual with one sex or the other (straights, lesbian and gay people), then why couldn't someone be repulsed by both? I have met someone IRL like this and the term "asexual" seems pretty apt. But, I do agree that many people who claim to be asexual or a part of the "asexual community" are not like this, and seem to want to adopt the term because they are avoiding being labeled straight (which is considered "boring" and negative by people who believe in Queer Theory).

I walked away from that party after 9/11 exposed them as the anti-American hypocrites they are. An anti-war movement is tone deaf in a war where the enemy hates all the same people Hitler hated.
