Boy am I glad Aunt Flow doesn't pay me any visits. The more I hear about her, the more she sounds like a total bitch.

Boy am I glad Aunt Flow doesn't pay me any visits. The more I hear about her, the more she sounds like a total bitch.

Well, Flow's generally been on her best behavior when she comes a-callin' on me (or my mom, back in the day); aside from the sheer VOLUME of blood-- which brings to mind that elevator from Stanley Kubrick's The Shining-- discomfort is minimal. (And that's coming from a world-class wimp.) Ditto mood swings, being famished, etc. Overall, it's pretty much a non-event for Yours Truly.

Which is to say that women experience this process VERY differently. And yet, based on the way that the ladyfeelz-brigade imagines period-having, you'd never know it! Notice how it's always THE. WORST. PAIN. EVER, and they're crying and wailing and generally freaking the fuck out, and undergoing weird ravenous food-cravings, and otherwise turning the EXTRA-NESS up so far that the dial falls off. Cuz that's "transwomen"'s MUH PERIOD!!!TM for ya! Melodrama that'd be just TOO MUCH even for the likes of Douglas Sirk!

Huh... wonder why the periods that they conjure up in their fervid brains are never like... my borin'-ass ones...?

Oh god I feel guilty for LOLing to this.As for my monthly visitor all I have to say is that I worship at the altar of mesulid. It usually only takes at most one pill to pull me through the first day, when the pain is sometimes so intense,I want to crawl in a corner and die.

I'm imagining them setting up a schedule for allotted crying, and a timer going off when it's time to switch positions.

What are you talking about, when we get our periods (we are perfectly synchronized I tell you),me and my gal-pals form a Greek chorus and lament our fate /s

Yes because periods are so dramatic and emotional for every woman it becomes a theatre performance every month. Showing how their knowledge of periods are limited to bad tv where the heroine cries in a pint of ice cream.

Right?! Also as far as I am aware, the whole concept of periods "syncing up" has dubious evidence even among real women... someone feel free to correct me, but it seems much more entrenched in culture than in biological reality.

It’s a combination of the facts that:

A. People look for patterns even when they don’t exist B. Cycles don’t last the same amount of time for every woman and they aren’t always 28 days. There’s bound to be occasional overlap.

Its been a thing for me, I out alpha all women I work with or been with because they seem to sync up to mine but it's anecdotal obviously.

A full blown female synching is not the same as some dude taking hormones. I'd say with transwomen this is mostly a misery loves company type of thing.

Also transmen can still get periods, kind of funny how they don't speak about this or synching up.

Fuck these men. Fuck. It’s not funny, it’s not fun, it’s not cute. It’s a fucking shitty part of life for a lot of women and it really really does not feel good that some dude is appropriating MY FEMALE PAIN into some cutesy mentally ill karma whoring attention seeking “validation” for their fucked up fantasy.

I am starting day 2 of my period right now. I take 3 ibeprofins a day for the first three days, I feel sick and miserable and awful and those men have no idea. But this really happened to hit home right now, I don’t usually get so angry about these things.

I had to leave a private WoW server because a couple of trans spent all their time ERPing about having painful periods with disgusting sexual overtones with each other in world chat all day every day and the mods wouldn't do anything about it. A few others would even join in to give their condolences too and I'm not sure if it was a case of them not realizing what's going on (isn't being roped into a sex act nonconsensually lovely?) or if I'd stumbled on one of the fabled alt-right chaser pocket communities.

But why is this delusional nonsense being posted in a lesbian subreddit and not a trans? Like, yeah, periods come up lesbian relationships, but I don’t think they’re a bigger deal than they would be in heterosexual relationships. The only difference is that my partner and I actually understand how the other is feeling at that moment.

Yeah I cry like once a year and I have pretty ordinary periods.

This is how we can tell transwomen are still blokes. Most women don't sit and cry when they have their period, they get on with life and have stuff to do.

This is the part that cracks me up, do they even have like real female friends or spend any amount of time around women? All the trans men I know pretty much exclusively hang out with women, you know like normal dudes, lol.

Yes because you had such painful periods as a young girl you had to miss school. You bled through clothes, had strange or unhealthy food cravings, mood swings and all the other crap that goes with becoming a woman.

Oh wait, you just took a pill and it gave you the crying shits once a month. Buck up for fucks sake!

History will look back at this era as the time when mental illness was somehow mischaracterised as sexual orientation and "gender identity" and wonder how the fuck that was ever possible.

    [–]ChunkeeguyTeam T*RF Fuck Yeah 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

No but teens being what they are will move onto something new, just as emos and goths pretty much vanished as soon as there was queer to replace them. Autogynephiles will indeed always be around. The battle to keep them out of women’s spaces will be a long one.

Either it'll go away or we will go extinct. There is a maximun amount of time that all of this can last, we just need to hope that civilization can outlive it.

I take an aspirin, pack some tampons for work, and move on with my life. I don't think I have ever in my entire life held someone and cried over my period. Sometimes if it is bad I'll get a heating pad and watch a movie, but shockingly real women aren't caricatures from ridiculous rom coms.
