Neither Republicans nor Democrats care about LGB people except for votes and virtue signalling purposes. Neither... not just one, not just the other, neither.

No matter which side ends up more strongly opposing our rights, we will need to advocate for ourselves and rely on truth (citing scientific evidence) and logic.

I came here to say this.

I haven't been interested in either side of politics for years.

Me neither. I am interested in politics, but I know that there are thieves and TRAs on both sides.

The slave party is worse because they have actively made our erasure into a civil rights cause. They stabbed us in the back — and the front. And now even our supposed allies in the GOP have sold us out.

The "slave party" as you call it is now the one against racism; you could just as soon call the Republicans the "party of homophobic evangelicals," that's far more recent than the civil war. But anyway, when it comes to "gender identity" both parties are full of science-deniers.

No, it isn't. "You ain't Black" was the single most racist political comment in American history since I've been alive: it reduces Blackness to a series of sitcom clichés and defines race as performative rather than genetic. It makes your entire family history, background, and heritage subservient to who you vote for.

But anyway, when it comes to "gender identity" both parties are full of science-deniers.

The people pushing the climate change doomsdayism are largely the same people pushing this tr-ns nightmare.

Everyone is terrified to drop the T. T is a separate issue. Being gay is like being left-handed. Some people are and the only accommodation needed is maybe scissors and guitars. Your handwriting slants the other way. It does not create any problems for other people. The T is like chopping off fingers from one hand, sewing them onto the other, and then expecting them to be functional. Or worse, sewing toes on your hand and expecting other people to play along and not notice you have a toe for a thumb.

Career politicians are all self-serving and would sell out their country and their own mother for money and power. That aside, I was really unhappy to see Brandon Straka speaking out against criticism of "Rachel" Levine based on his autogynephilia. I think Ric Grenell uses LGBT too. Drop the T. Same-sex attraction has nothing to do with the sexual fetish of autogynephilia, and self-loathing gay people need help to accept themselves and love themselves, not be encouraged to mutilate and deceive themselves. I fully expect to see the transgender flag colors projected on the White House any day now. The GOP needs a total overhaul because there's too many career politicians with no concept of the real world.

Have you seen the contact page on Whitehouse.gov now asks your pronouns?

I do not consider myself an American anymore. This isn't my country. These aren't my people. These are not the values my Polish and Vilnese Jewish ancestors risked life and limb to come here for. Not only do I want these people out of power, I specifically want their crimes against gay people to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and I don't care how severe that is at this point. There is no punishment too severe for crimes against homosexuality on this scale. And allying with countries that ban homosexuality and imprison and/or execute gays makes one complicit in their war crimes against us.

I don't think we need to renounce being an American. We need to call out those who have taken over this country and are trying to impose the Cult of Woke on us.

If I was living in America and joined the Log Cabin Republicans, I would probably get kicked out in short notice. Looking at the GOP, the party is pathetic. Dan Crenshaw loves censorship and denies that the USS Liberty ever happened. Mitch McConnell is pathetic. The governor of Vermont Phil Scott might as well be a Democrat. Peter Theil co-founded PayPal, a site which deplatforms people and steals their money, and Theil has done nothing about it. Donald Trump himself has failed to pardon Edward Snowden and Julian Assange. Lindsay Graham is a Warhawk. Charlie Kirk, who runs Turning Point USA, has no passion at all except when it comes to Israel. Alex Jones is a charlatan who poisons the well with conspiracy theories about 9/11 and believes in Qanon. Lynn Wood pushes the QAnon bullshit, which has incited well meaning patriotic Americans to do stupid, reckless things. Steven Crowder thinks that there was no genocide against Native Americans. Nick Fuentes tries to exclude gay people from the Republican Party despite being a homosexual himself, and he trusts idiots like Alex Jones. Gavin McInnes has founded Vice, founded the Proud Boys (and later threw them under the bus after he got them into trouble) and shoved phallic items up his arse on camera. And don’t get me started on that brainless twat called Baked Alaska.

How are the Republicans supposed to defeat the Democrats in 2022 and 2024 when they have so many stupid or dishonest clowns in their party? I don’t know why the Democrats are afraid of the GOP, because instead they should be amused.

Yep, you nailed it. Funny when foreigners get our politics better than actual Americans. America is fucked right now.

I wouldn’t say that foreigners are better at American politics than Americans are. Just that most people on the planet are not interested in politics and only understand what the media is saying. With America being the most powerful country in the world for now, most people across the planet are familiar with American politics. And sometimes foreigners hear what Americans don’t hear.

On the flip side, the average non-American is just as ignorant as the average American. A lot of Irish people know more about America than they know about Ireland. A lot of Irish people don’t know much about the European Union either, except that Ireland is a part of it. Most Irish people only speak English, which is why Irish people are so ignorant on a lot of things that happen outside of Ireland, America and Britain, and even then, some Irish people can be ignorant on what is happening in Ireland. So being ignorant of your own history is not an exclusively American thing.

I talked with a Log Cabin Republican state leader once; it seems that some of the rank and file Log Cabins secretly think that the TQ+ are a bunch of nutters, and some have also received threats from trans activists similar to the ones women receive, but the national Log Cabins are in the bag for the TQ+

I'm guessing it's because they're getting $$$ from the gender lobby, same as what happened to every other former gay or women's group that was bought out by the gender cult.

RINOs in charge don't care about rights but there are many gay right wing people who aren't at all on board with the whole trans thing.

Pls see my comment up top - I think you're right based on my conversation with a local Log Cabin leader.
