LGB Alliance posted about a dating app, Giggle, that is supposedly "for lesbians" but I thought I'd heard it talked about here that it is not, and that it is actually trans-inclusive.

Happy to be wrong, would be cool if it were. But if not, they ought to be a little more careful about checking their claims before they post...

The founder did an about-face after realizing just how terrifying these men are. Proof positive that most people just need to be educated about what's really going on and that these people aren't just "trying to live their lives" like LGB.

I still won't download the app because the algorithm seems to do a poor job of stopping men from being on there, and said men have made it their mission to get through and doxx any actual women who dare look for other actual women to spend time with. Seems like a serious safety issue. They never let us have nice things.

Also if men can get in by mistake then surely it could mistake biological women for men, especially for those of us who, like me, have a naturally more masculine appearance

Oh wow. She did a complete black tire-marks on the asphalt screeching U-Turn from "let's welcome trans with open arms" to "Oh hell naww!" LOL. I remember being on reddit when the TRA army was attacking Giggle. They were too stupid to understand that they were already welcome there and it's their own fault that they are now unwanted because they showed themselves to be absolute psychos! This is like the Mount Everest of peaks!

She said she did not realized they are so agressive and that majority of them are not even remotely passing.

And yes, almost all peakening and almost all GC women are created by transes themselves, by their agression, entitlement and stupidity.

I'm convinced mostly everyone is just giving lip service to trans issues. Sure some companies will give out empty platitudes and maybe put in trans HR policies, but the moment you scratch the surface of the average person they'll just tell you what bullshit this all is.

Everyone is accepting and virtuous when it's all talk and cheap, the moment it comes to your door it's a different story.

There's just something extra vile about a man who wants to hurt a woman. I had no idea who this person is or about the app giggle but I am glad there are people out there willing to give other women what little space we have in the world. The shit this poor woman went through....Shit like this made me "peak"

When something seems too good to be true is because it is. The app idea is very appealing but the privacy issue is quite off putting. 🥺

As the others have mentioned, Giggle is now female-only app.

I tried it out and didn't care for it to be honest. The interface is awkward and didn't know how the fuck it worked really. It felt like...a tawdry version of tinder...cheap and flashy...Plus, per category you click on, you have to make a NEW profile EACH time, which was ridiculous and time consuming.

Lastly..."Giggle" and "Girls"...? Not something I describes myself as. Just want a regular app or website where I can talk to other women.

Thanks for sharing, that helps. I really agree dude, it's a little off-putting to me too, although I'm still tempted to try it because at least it's something as opposed to an app that explicitly includes men.

I remember that post, yeah. I hope that as people slowly begin to more openly resist the messages of exclusive same-sex attraction being "bigoted" or "in need of re-education," we might see better options pop up. :) Might be a couple years, though.
