A poster on s/gendercritical received a notice that the Equality Act has been added to the Senate calendar.

Apparently the Democrats are trying to fast track the Equality Act, so if you do not want to be erased as gay and bisexual men and women, and if you want to keep your sex-based rights, please call your Senators whatever their party, and the Republican leadership first thing Friday, March 5th!!!

Also call the fence-sitters Senators Collins, Murkowski, Toomey and Portman.

If you don't have time for research you can use this:

"I am gay (or bi) (and a Democrat or Independent if you are one) and I want you to vote NO on the Equality Act as it is written because by changing the legal definition of "sex" to include the undefinable "gender identity" the Equality Act makes it impossible to define "homosexuality" "same-sex attraction" "same-sex marriage" and "sexual orientation."

This will erase gays and bisexuals as distinct and coherent legal categories and throw the sex-based rights of gays and bisexuals into limbo. Please vote NO on the Equality Act and amend it so it doesn't erase same-sex attracted people under the law, and also so it saves gays and bisexuals' sex-based rights.

Call the fucking Democrats in the Senate too if you have time - not only are they committing political suicide but they will throw the country into chaos if the Equality Act passes.
