If penises and vaginas were almost identical, there wouldn't be whole-ass manuals about female orgasms.

No, being a lesbian is being exclusively into the same-sex. A transwoman and a woman in a relationship is heterosexual.

We know, sweetie. It's okay, you're safe here.

Disgusting. This is literally conversion therapy, I can't see how it possibly could not be.

... clocking cock time ...

penises and vulvas are analogues

I'd say the author needs provide sources, but that would be impossible. Not that it matters to the author or supporters of the book, since apparently we can spout absolute nonsense and it becomes fact because it's what TRAs want to hear.

I know it's been said before, but these transbians just keep outing themselves as the same pornsick incels who would tell lesbians they just need to try dick, and their lipstick stained teeth and spinny skirts make it acceptable.

As a biologist I really and truly hate the genitals are just analogues idea. They are derived from the same fetal tissues. Thats it, thats all that it means. Its like saying because the skin and the brain are both derived from ectoderm that they're exactly alike. Its nonsensical.

They say that "basically" clit = small penis and penis = big clit.

I read the 3 first chapters of the book, just out of morbid curiosity and OH.MY.GOD. it was even more of a flaming trainwreck then I expected. If mental gymnastics were a sport in the Olympics, this book would take home the gold, silver and bronze medals...

Literally a child-grooming book with absolutely no redeeming or useful information for lesbians whatsoever. Every other sentence involves penises.

Well, of course! There is nothing more homosexual than a penis penetrating a vagina!

None of that shit is true. If I drive purely, 100% exclusively, never touched a stick in my life, automatic and never will touch a manual, then understanding how to drive a manual transmission won't help me much at all. It isn't a 'preference,' it's the way things are. Understanding how an automatic transmission works will certainly help me, but driving stick won't.

And I fail to understand how working with a penis would help someone understand a vagina? I've "clocked plenty of cock time" and I have no idea what the anatomy of a vagina is (excluding the poorly printed diagrams from 7th grade biology which don't even focus on the vagina at all), let alone what actions would feel good for the woman.

And no. Transwomen are not women. They are men and only a straight or bisexual woman would be attracted to one. Lesbian sex with a transwoman or gay sex with a transman do not exist

By their own logic tho I (a gay man) don’t need any “experience” with vulvas cause penis is analogous...

Hearts not parts...except when those parts are penises. Then parts matter the most and you should clock some cock time, girl ;)

This book is still on Amazon and has pretty high reviews.

Except for the reviews by lesbians calling it homophobic trash.

I am not a biology expert... but I am sure that is not how "analogue" works.... a bat-wing is analogous to a human hand.... so? That does neither mean I can fly nor that I have to familiarize myself with it in order to use my hands better...

Does a Windows-user need to know how IOS works? No!

We truly live in crazy times... words have no meanings anymore... (I hear and say this so often... it is a mantra at this point...)

Utter, horrifying nonsense.

I consider myself reasonably well acquainted with male genitalia. I know more or less what's where, and how the whole thing is supposed to work. I'm not a urologist, by any means, but I've clocked enough 'cock time' (what a dreadful expression) to know my way around a wang.

Does this knowledge equip me to work with the confusing internal plumbing of ladyfolk? No. Absolutely fucking not. I have only the most cursory knowledge of female genital anatomyhow do y'all pee with a tampon? and any conversation I've had with female friends about women's health issues have slowly devolved into /r/badwomensanatomy very quickly. Learning about female genital anatomy will help me better understand some women's health issues (and mean I don't have to ask stupid questions) but it won't make me better at being a gay man.

All skills are not instantly transferrable. Yes, someone who is used to driving with a manual transmission would probably do a better job at driving an automatic than someone who can't drive at all, but that is a meaningless, idiotic comparison. Being an accomplished cellist would probably make you a better player of the violin than the average, non violinist, but nobody at the Royal College of Music or the Julliard School argues that learning how to play the violin will make you a better cellist. You know what makes you a better cellist? Practising the fucking cello.

Although perhaps a more accurate comparison might be the cello and something like the harp. Strings make noise. That's where the similarities end.

Can you tell I don't actually know anything about music?

I love this! (and your flair, too!)

Yeah, this whole you-must-know-how-to-do-two-related-things-to-be-any-good-at-either assertion is sheer dumbassery. What, are the authors of this gross book gonna tell straight guys that, in order to perform cunnilingus well, they've first gotta master giving blowjobs? Let me know how THAT little lecture goes!

Anyway, why the hell is this being framed in terms of a "skill"? Are these creeps under the impression that lesbians are training for the Sex Olympics or something? All anyone's gotta know is how to have sex with the people whom THEY want to have sex WITH; who cares about all the ones you don't ever wanna fuck anyway? Do we worry about whether we have the prowess to satisfy someone to whom we are not at all attracted? No! Because it's irrelevant! As is penis-pleasing for lesbians! (And, of course, vulva-pleasing for gay men.)

I mean, sure, as you note, it can be useful to know something about the anatomy of the sex you're not attracted to... but for NON-SEXUAL purposes only (like being a well-informed citizen on issues related to women's reproductive health, for example). It's the difference between a woman being penetrated during a pelvic exam vs during sex: NOT the same thing at all!

how do y'all pee with a tampon

Menstrual flow is the result of the uterus shedding its lining; that's connected to the vagina, so the latter is where tampons go. We pee from our urethra (like you guys do); that's NOT part of the vagina. (It's actually located above it.) So there's no conflict between these two functions.

(that you wrote your question in such tiny font, indicative of a whisper, is delightful :) )
