And then, on March 19 of this year, British Columbia supreme court justice Michael Tammen ordered Hoogland—who had never before been in trouble with the law—to be sent to prison. By speaking out publicly about his case, and by publicly calling A.B. his “daughter” and saying “she” and “her,” maintained Tammen, Hoogland had violated “a publication ban designed to protect the privacy and dignity of a young and vulnerable person.” Not the slightest concern, of course, about protecting that young person’s long-term medical health, physical intactness, and psychiatric well-being.

This is so fucking sick.

This case is so horrible. I can't believe that it's happened.

It really gets me icy to think how smug and self accomplished all of those lawyers, armchair psychiatrists and sociology majors must be thinking about the young woman and family that they've destroyed in the name of their agenda.

This is a man who, by his own words, feels that whatever they can do to him is nothing compared to what they've done to his daughter. He's so distraught at what she's been indoctrinated into, and all he's thinking about is trying to save her from the predators and groomers that have swooped down on her. He's willing to go to prison for her. He wants to be able to say that he did everything he possibly did to fight for her.

And these people think he's a criminal. The world would be a brighter place if they all just disappeared one day and were never heard from again. They're evil. They're scum. They revel in the destruction of others, and they can't keep getting away with it.

I really want to know where the daughter is in all of this because, from what I’ve seen, she hasn’t spoken out against it at all. If she’s remaining silent, then she’s complicit and that seems downright evil.

Well said. The crooked people, school, and provincial institutions involved in this are completely mad and conspired to rig this outcome up in secret, as if the Father didn't even exist. This is nefarious shit. I can't trust the justice system anymore if they allowed something like this to transpire so readily.

They need to be the ones in jail. Especially the doctors, therapists, politicians and journalists, judges (who am I missing here?) who propagated these lies.

Rapists and murders can get bail but this fella can’t. Jesus Christ. I fear for him- they’ll make an example of him; looking at all the shady goings on in the case he’ll get the maximum sentence + whatever they can add for contempt.

The silver lining (though not to this father) is that this case is starting to get attention outside of Canada, and it's a very bad look.

It makes Canadian law look so sinister that maybe Trudeau and other politicians/media/ medical industrial complex, etc., will be forced to pull back on the gender ideology fanaticism they've been pushing for the last few years.

It also gives concerned parents outside of Canada something to point to when people claim they're being alarmist. Like the Keira Bell case in the UK, it could help us wake people worldwide to the dangers surrounding transing children.

I wonder what would happen if the daughter down the track wanted to detrans or develops severe medical issues as the result becoming trans? What would the courts say then?

I'll take bets she will. Or her life will be such a trainwreck she'll be used as a cautionary tale. Not that I'm wishing ill on her: I hope that she survives this nightmare and comes out happy - she was too young to make these decisions and it's the adults around her fault.
