I wanted to post this because the following quotes jumped out at me:

"When I was in elementary school, I feared that I was lesbian. When I was in middle school, I came out to my family and close friends as bisexual. When I was in high school, I discovered pansexuality and thought, 'That's the flag for me.' " Michaela recalled.

"I've definitely always dreamed of a world in which nobody will have to come out, because everybody's sexuality will be assumed fluid and none of our business," Michaela said. "But in a world that force-feeds cisgender heterosexuality, coming out of the closet is a lifelong process of unpacking internalized social constructions and stigmas."

There you go, folx. The default sexuality is now 'fluid' and sexual orientation is an internalized social construction. Brave new world.

"Demisexual" originates on a fanfiction/role play forum in 2004, as the made-up identity of a middle schooler's character. On very early Tumblr, 'factualwiley' referenced it as a joke, left… came back in 2010 shocked to see legions of proud 'demisexuals'.

And now people are taking it seriously. Embarrassing.

We're not assuming she's seeking attention. We know she's seeking attention. Likely to distract from her father being a rapist.

I’ve said it before in the other tread, and I will say it again. You could write a sitcom out of the shenanigans the Cuomos get up to. The dad who is running a significant US state into the ground and sexually harassing people, one of the daughters who is dating a cop which the dad doesn’t like, the uncle who outright despises the dad and now the youngest daughter who wants to shag demigods because being bisexual just isn’t trendy enough anymore. I'd watch the shit out of that.
