Medicine has a long ass history of ignoring sex in treatment that was hugely detrimental to women. These doctors got pulled straight out of the late 1800s. Can't wait for them to start diagnosing women with hysteria again.

The AMA is a professional association and political lobbying group for physicians that dates back to the 19th century. They aren't the only doctor's association but they are by far the biggest.

They are mainly funded through a charity called the AMA Foundation. Do take a look at their "Corporate Roundtable" members. Every pharmaceutical company in the world.

I'm so tired of the word "spectrum" being used in nonsensical ways like this to confuse and gaslight people. What does "medical spectrum of gender identity" even mean? The myriad ways you can f*** someone's body and mind up and still call it health care?

"We as physicians need to report things accurately," Jackson said. "All through medical school, residency, and specialty training we were supposed to delegate all of the physical findings of the patient we're taking care of. I think when the child is born, they do have physical characteristics either male or female and I think that probably should be on the public record. That's just my personal opinion."

It's sad how doctors have to speak like this now. Suddenly, recognizing biological facts is just an option that can only be gently suggested as an alternative to giving in to madness.

The amount of doctors in the original Twitter thread going 'wtf' gives me SOME hope. Not much, but some.
