I was joking a while when I said queer has evolved into kwazy coloured hair and satanism lite (lol I got a baphomet t-shirt ain't I quirky and nonconformist?), but that does seem to be the new trend (or they're going back into 2000s goth/emo again).

This will probably never be a thing, specially in countries with public healthcare.

The Keira Bell case has opened the gates of hell for the possibility of detransitioners suing the state for hefty amounts of money, something which will weight on the judgement of any half-responsible politician.

Also, remember the whole 'we want access to free hormones and shit' thing? In countries with public health care systems, they'll pay for the HRT... only if the person in question has an actual gender disphoria diagnosis from an estate doctor. So no, the old trick of hopping from therapist to therapist until one gives the damn thing won't work here.

Lastly, but not least, the line of people waiting for such procedures tend to be quite long, so good luck on that. It's easier for one to simple desist from transitioning than for them to actual get a state-funded transition.
