It appears he was also denounced as a 'terf' which presumably now just means anyone we don't like and doesn't agree with us. I doubt this man claims to be a feminist of any sort. He was there because he's gay and pride used to be for men like him.

I guess it's not just lesbians being kicked out anymore!

That's true. But I also worry about the backlash GB men may face as anti-TQ+ sentiment ramps up and the LGB are lumped in the TQ+... prevented from leaving it. Gay men are already the demographic most at risk for hate crimes.

Lesbians were thrown away in 2016 for "Lesbians do not do dicks", then in 2018 for "If Stonewall will continue to ignore L, then get the L out!". Since 2018 lesbians were denied voice on podium/scene.

Now they came against gay men as well.

If lesbians and gays are not welcome on Pride - then who is? Is Pride now only for transgenders, "queers" and "non-binary"? Why they have LGB then in their LGBTQ+?! Get the LGB out!

The main person responsible for this is a prominent Lib Dem member who is reported to describe herself as a 'queer heterosexual' whatever the hell that means.

My interpretation is that a straight woman verbally abused and hounded a gay man from a pride event because she believes his same sex attraction is transphobic and that she has more right to be there than him.

I know I say this a lot but it's just unfathomable to me how we reached this point. It's profoundly disturbing.

I saw an older gay man comment on twitter that the video was just like a scene from the 80s when gay men would be harassed and hounded in public.
