I'm submitting this link because I think it's deeply relevant to many of the phenomena we discuss on here and that we have to deal with in real life. I'm posting my reasoning since I know the mods remove posts that they don't think are directly relevant to the LGB. I would make the argument that it's relevant because it involves the whole culture of internet pornography and how that culture has transformed into something unrecognizable to those of us who grew up in the age of print media or renting porn DVDs that were supposed to be available only to adults. What this mother found was available to her young daughter was chilling to me.

Assuming it's legit, and we've seen enough insanity that there's not a reason to dismiss it, I wonder how much of an epidemic this is, i.e. how many parents would make similar discoveries among their kids' online activities.

It seems a little TOO perfect, but this shit does really go on. We know young girls are well into this just from all the GoFundMe "top surgery" accounts.

The title of this one alone just made me ill. Even if it IS maybe compiled from different cases to make it more extreme, there's nothing that isn't happening. Probably worse than we know tbh. Just the title:

I'm nervous for kids growing up right now. I've spent some time with zoomers in online videogame communities and most of them do seem to be very porn tainted. Granted these kids are mostly adults at this point but it's really unsettling when someone half your age in a discord server focused on gaming sends his first DM to you and it's a picture of his fucking asshole. Thing about discord is you can't delete pictures someone sends you in a DM aside from fully blocking the person so I have to ask him to delete it. Somehow this offends the person and he gets upset like I did something crazy.

Often they will name drop pornstars while making a comment about something and it flies over my head so I ask what they are talking about. They think it's funny / quaint when I don't know pornstars by name.

The vast majority of the gaming discord servers I've joined have multiple nsfw channels and you know the mods can't police everyone's age.

That is really disturbing. So any child molester who wants to prey on kids would have an EASY time. You're not even encouraging it and they're offering it up. Imagine if you ASKED for pix!

I don't know why they bother to learn pornstars' names. Aren't they used and abused until they die (around age 25) and the crowd moves on to fresh meat? Zoomers have nowhere more shocking to go. Remember Straight Edge? At this point the most shocking and rebellious thing they could do would be to reject tattoos and go SxE.

Street cred with their peers.

I mean i might recognize a few names if you specified we were talking about porn but they would name drop in casual conversation.

Yeah, that's scary.

I'm not disagreeing with you but the current culture of trans topics makes it pretty much impossible for someone writing an article like this to do it under their own name and not anoymously.
