No. If America adopts universal healthcare, hormone blockers for children will be given away for free. At the cost of American taxpayers.

The problem with America right now is that TRAs have a grip on corporations and Big Pharma wants to make money. Which they will make even with universal healthcare.

Another nice thing about Sweden and Finland is that neither of them have self-ID laws like Norway, Denmark or Iceland do. I don’t know why those two countries haven’t followed their neighbours to the woke side, but good for Sweden and Finland.

Specifically, the US system favors TRA bullshit for 2 reasons. 1 is hormones and hormone blockers require no research. Generating a new drug compound can cost a pharma company 1 Billion+ $ just for clinical trials... Nevermind the years of R&D. Trans drugs are all used off label so are not subject to clinical trials or safety standards.

No2 is that mental health providers are more small practice with no big lobbyists and cost more per person for insurance companies.

Big Pharma gets to overcharge for off the shelf drugs while suffering no drug safety scrutiny. Big Insurance would rather pay for hormones because it costs far less than trying to treat the mental health aspect. Both of them also team up to push the whole idea that treatment of the underlying condition is "conversion therapy" and the mental health practitioners who don't fall in line will be socially ostracized.

I am not so sure. A lot of people in the healthcare field have chugged the koolaid. My own primary care doctor's office asks new patients to give pronouns.

At least in the UK there is a prominent LGB only movement that has broad public support, unlike the US, Canada and Ireland.

But there are definitely problems in the UK caused by TRAs, that we don’t have in Ireland, or that they don’t have in America. In Ireland or America, if you criticise the ideology online, the police won’t come to your house to bully you. A cop might call you out if he or she knows you personally and is a TRA himself/herself, but you won’t get arrested. America has no hate speech law, because their constitution currently guarantees freedom of speech, and Ireland’s hate speech law only extends to banning inciting violence against groups of people.

In the UK, on the other hand, cops would come to your house to harass you over a Tweet, and even drag you to the station. Which is probably why the LGB only movement is more support in England than in Ireland or America. Also, this LGB only movement is confined to England. Scotland is even more woke than Canada, and Wales is also pretty woke. Not sure about Northern Ireland.
