Declassifying homosexuality as a mental illness is one milestone in same-sex history where the Americans were in fact first. We love to see it.

Thanks for posting this, trans and trans activists will somehow try to make it all about them instead of LGB people.

I wouldn't be surprised if trans people and trans activists try to rewrite history and claim that when HIV/AIDS was spreading in the 1970s and early 1980s that transpeopleofcolor and POC were instrumental in starting HIV/AIDS health and educational orgs, promoting safe sex, etc. When in reality if you were there or alive then trans people were not involved in this, and most LGB POC were deeply closeted, did not care about HIV/AIDS or thought it only effected white gay and bisexual men and junkies, or did not want to do anything yet still had unsafe sex like they were used to.
