/u/magnora7 this has probably been discussed before, but what are your thoughts about making the default home page preference for future new accounts be "all" instead of "subscribed"? I can see arguments either way, but overall "all" seems to fit better with the unfiltered nature of Saidit. I think it would lead to increased engagement and growth of Saidit. Then if people want to filter by subscribed, they can still go change their preference.

I'm an extremely loyal Trump supporter, but I'm seriously considering switching my support to RFK. Both Trump and RFK want to support the American people. The problem with Trump is he only now recognizing the extent the deep state was lying to him and manipulating him. RFK is completely aware of this threat now. My dream would be to have them work together as co-Presidents, or at least to have a town hall with both of them so that real issues can be discussed.

Now may be an auspicious time to make another post that explains how to change their preference and why they may or may not want to. It would be good to include instructions on how to block individuals and mute subs along with it, so that "all" can still be filtered according to their wishes.

I find your viewpoint to be cynical, however I cannot in good faith deny that my own viewpoint is much more cynical. It is a well established fact that COVID-19 was engineered as a bioweapon. What we don't know is if they purposely released it or understood exactly what it would do. I think that confirms that you are right and my original assumption was wrong. The automod shadow bans users. This is troublesome because if nothing else it breaks intended transparency of public logs of bans, which is part of Saidit's core mission. I think /u/magnora7 is not going to like that.
