It is reddit. I read that a lot of reddit users are really bots, fake accounts farming for karma/attention, spammers, etc.

A lot of the actual people in the LGBT, trans subs and on Twitter just spew the same tiresome BS over and over and think if they repeat it enough it will make it true such as the "trans women of color Stonewall myth" or the myth catchphrase of "The first pride was a riot!" Neither of these are remotely true. Trans people were not at Stonewall or the early pride events at all. I know people who were actually at both Stonewall as bar customers and the demonstration as well as early LGB aka gay pride events and trans/transsexuals were not there or involved. Trans people and drag queens were not even allowed in the Stonewall bar and those who pretended to be regulars when in reality they never were such as Malcolm/Marsha and Sylvia were not allowed in and were seen as the nutcases or people to avoid that they were. Malcolm/Marsha was schizophrenic not on meds and changed personalities by the minute/hour. Sylvia bragged about robbing gay and bisexual men who would go to the Stonewall bar or who were leaving it or near it.

A lot of them believe, or get manipulated by counselors, therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists into falsely believing via gaslighting that transitioning, taking hormones, getting partial and then full SRS will just magically solve all of their problems when it does not work this way.

I have met trans people who transitioned in their late 20s or 50s and they all said how 'deadnaming' and misgendering, are going to happen and how it takes time for other people to adjust to the new you after transitioning, and that transitioning will not make all of life's issues or problems, or mental health issues go away completely.

I am very glad I am from the end of Gen X, over 40 and that myself and my LGB friends were spared the forced transing conversion manipulation. I am bisexual, was around in the 1980s and 1990s in Philadelphia, where it was open but only in certain sections of the city and most LGB people were discreet or out to family and friends but not to random strangers or to most people at work. I had heard of transsexuals, but did not meet any until 2003 and then it was only one or two in a very large city of millions of people and a small almost tiny LGB scene.

I knew when they were alive, or know multiple bisexual and gay people who were at the Stonewall demonstrations. If you cannot stop on your own or have lots of fuck ups or relapses go to rehab, NA/AA, as it will get you around people who are now sober addicts, work with a sponsor, and be open to change and bettering yourself. Think of sobriety as a gift to yourself.

Also delete your dealer/drug buddies #s or contact information or stop seeing them socially.

I do find "gay transmen" to be rather strange. Especially with how they seem to think most gay and bisexual men are like bad stereotypes of super camp/effeminate men when most gay and bisexual men are not like this at all.

More concerning is the homophobia/biphobic transmen and transwomen seem to tend to openly promote or make no secret about. Or one of the first "gay transmen" I met she/he had a homophobic/biphobic slur in Spanish tattooed on her body. Not to mention they are clueless about how to have safe sex to prevent HIV/STD transmission, take it raw, and then are completely shocked when they get Pozzed.

I first heard the "gold star" term from gay men who were super angry that before they were out they had sex with women, married women, etc.

I am not sure of your age but if you were alive in the 1970s-1990s or even early 2000s, and in the gay/LGB scene you would know that many gay men really dislike lesbians, want nothing to do with them, and are strangely homophobic towards lesbians. I don't mean in a joking way either.

It is a joke, and for about 20 years I have heard the false claim from trans/TRAs about "Bisexual is transphobic! You must identify as pansexual or the slur queer, and you must fuck, date, and marry trans people!"
