As it turns out, advancements in technology have reached a point where offensive operations are no longer strongly favored in confrontations between two opposing armies with equal technological capabilities.

Its not about technology, though. It is very difficult for an attacking force to make any headway when the defending forces are numerically superior to them. You are supposed to outnumber the defender by a significant margin before you launch an attack; the old rule of thumb was to achieve a three to one ratio for a near guaranteed breakthrough. The Ukrainians have always outnumbered the Russians on the ground, especially in infantry. They have lots of foot soldiers to hold the entire frontline in strength, with enough in reserve to respond to any Russian attacks. Thats the main reason why the war has bogged down into a stalemate.

The other reason is that it takes a high degree of combat proficiency (leadership, training, initiative, etc) in order to successfully execute mobile warfare. The Russians have shown that while they are more competent than the Ukrainians, they are still not competent enough to prosecute deep offensive operations. They simply have no answer to the Ukrainian numerical superiority, other than to try to bleed them dry in attritional warfare (using their artillery superiority to inflict disproportionate casualtys). This approach shows not only a limited tactical repertoire, but an apalling disregard for human life

And aside from that, neither Russia nor Ukraine is at the cutting edge of technology in terms of their Army equipment. The most common MBT in use by both sides is theT-64 and T-72 tank, dating back from the 1960s and 1970s. Russias aerospace equipment is state of the art, though, as is its electronic warfare equipment.

Thanks to modern telecommunications technology, it is no longer possible to mobilize large amounts of men and materiel in secret and launch surprise blitzkrieg offensives.

But the Russians did exactly that at the start of the war. They covertly mobilised their Army and launched a surprise attack on the Ukraine, taking them off guard. Whether that surprise was achieved in spite of good intelligence is irrelevant; whatever intelligence the Ukrainians supposedly had did not motivate them to take any precautions. The Russians were able to make impressive advances in the first week of the war due to the element of surprise. But they failed to capture the capital of Kiev, or to deal a crippling blow to the Ukrainian Army. Because of that, the Russians committed a strategic blunder. They squandered their chance to end the war quickly and decisively. They were just a step short of achieving the kindof Blitzkrieg victorys that the Germans routinely pulled off during WW2.

Because this kind of war is best-suited for traditional, conservative societies with both large numbers of patriotic men as well as the sufficient industrial capacity to support large armies in the field.

This is the kind of war that could be fought by pre-1945 Germany, Imperial Japan, Russia, or even early 20th century France. But ZOG, and especially Weimerica, is totally unsuited for such a war.

This is 100% correct. In spite of the deficiencys of their military, Russian society has a cultural ethos that is capable of sustaining a large scale war on the ground. In retrospect, the 2020 riots can be seen as an attempt by communist wannabes to spread a reign of terror through urban areas, to the suburbs, and to the countryside. This incident almost looks staged. Its possible Putin and Prigozhin had planned this 'rebellion' beforehand, as a way to clean house.

The Russians bungled the invasion of Ukraine last year. They were supposed to capture Kiev in a fast operation and collapse the Ukrainian government, and then partition it into a rump state. The Generals obviously underestimated the resolve of the Ukrainians and didn't adequately prepare their own forces. The conflict bogged down into positional warfare, and the Russian performance has been mediocre. Their tactics are uninspired, mainly relying on their artillery to pulverise the Ukrainians. Recruitment drives have been disappointing, too.

Prigozhin was sharply criticising the Russian generals for their incompetence, and Putin must have agreed with him (even if he said nothing publicly). As the leader of the Wagner PMC group, he was able to achieve results that eluded the Russian military. Wagner recruited prisoners into their ranks and used them in human wave attacks; these tactics were brutal, but effective. Prigozhin was able to capture the fortress of Bakhmut after months of fighting. His criticisms of the generals carried weight.

Part of the deal that was reached with Prigozhin was reforms to the Russian military, and Wagner PMCs being offered contracts from the military. This was something that Putin must have wanted, but was unable to achieve on his own. If he tried to clear the Russian military of all the dead wood, they would have turned against him, and launched an actual coup (not this staged 'rebellion').

There were communications experts who pointed this out, but they only did so on an individual basis. Hundreds of people individually pointing out the impossibility of cell phone calls from altitude has very little collective effect. Their voices get buried under the mountain of people uncritically repeating the official story. Out of those hundreds of communications experts, they might on average make a few comments online (or to people in real life) pointing out the difficultys involved, before they cease to speak anymore on the matter. Besides, without actual experiments to prove this matter definitively, they could not be absolutely sure about how impossible it was.

Dewdney performed experiments to determine what cell phone reception was like from both single and twin engine aircraft. He determined that there was a ceiling above which no cell phone calls could connect, which he estimated at about 1000 feet for a twin engine aircraft.

If the cell phone calls were impossible, then they weren't made from aircraft: They were made from the ground, by people pretending to be passengers on the hijacked planes.

What you are proposing is a conspiracy that was extremely risky to pull off without being detected and would have involved too many people.

Stalins story is not as black and white as I originally thought. For whatever other crimes he was guilty of (and there were really too many to name them all), Stalin was a true believer in Communism. When he saw that Jews like Trotsky were trying to use Communism as a platform to benefit Jews, this made Stalin very suspicious and angry. He quietly went to work on removing the Jews from their position of power within the Soviet Union. I was also surprised to learn that after the fall of Berlin, Stalin reigned in the Jewish elements who were trying to get revenge on the German people. He downplayed the Holocaust because it made the Jews seem like the main victims, instead of the Soviet people who suffered so many deaths in the war. While Stalin did lend his support for the creation of Israel, that was with the expectation that they would become an ally of the Soviets. When they instead became an ally of the United States, he did an about-face and supported the Arabs.

Communism was an ideology that sounded good on paper but worked very badly in practise. Any countrys that adopted it suffered from severe economic mismanagement that left much of the population living on the edge of poverty. Soviet Russia in the postwar era was prosperous only in comparison to the rest of the eastern Communist bloc: Its GDP per capita didn't hold a candle to any western Capitalist state.

It enables women to sift through arbitrarily large numbers of potential suitors without ever having to meet them in person and invest any effort on their part, in order to find the few top men who meet their arbitrary criteria. Whereas Millennial men only had to compete against the men in their own city, Zoomer men need to compete against the men from all over the country. Increasing the level of competition to that extent inevitably means there will be more drop outs.

Women agree to stay faithful to one man, while men agree to work hard to provide for that woman. When the marriage contract is broken, one of the main drivers for men to work is disrupted. After the sexual revolution took root, Western men are no longer sexually incentivised to seek gainful employment. Increasing numbers of men have dropped out of the workforce altogether, finding other ways to avoid homelessness or starvation.

What Republicans consistently failed to understand is that it doesn't matter how terrible the Democrats are.
